Plug-Ins Locations

The file extension has to be ".vst3".

On Windows platform, the host application expects VST3 Plug-Ins to be located in : Application Location: $APPFOLDER/VST3/ Global Location: the applications common files "VST3" subfolder for native Plug-Ins (32 bits on 32 bits Windows only and 64 bits on 64 bits Windows): /Program Files/Common Files/VST3/ for 32 bits Plug-Ins on 64 bits Windows: /Program Files (x86)/Common Files/VST3/ Note: The host recursively scans this folder at startup in this order (Application/Global).

On Mac platform, the host application expects VST3 Plug-Ins to be located in : Application Location: $APPFOLDER/Contents/VST3/ User location: /Users/$USERNAME/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ Global Locations: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ /Network/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/ Note: The host recursively scans these folders at startup in this order (Application/User/Global).

Presets Locations

• The file extension has to be ".vst3preset".
